About Me

The 500 Movement

What It’s About

Let’s be honest. I’m not a career politician. I don’t have corporate donors or a big political machine behind me. My goal is simple: 500 votes.

Not 50,000. Not a landslide. Just 500.
Why? Because I’d really prefer not to be the guy who runs for Congress and gets fewer votes than a local high school homecoming queen.

But there’s more to it than that.

The 500 Movement started as a half-joke about not wanting to be embarrassed, but it’s become something real. It’s about proving that when regular people, especially those who have been overlooked, underpaid, and unheard, decide to show up, everything changes.

If we can get 500 people to care enough to vote for change, we can get 5,000. And if we can get 5,000, we can change this district and maybe even the country, one small, stubborn step at a time.

It’s not just about getting votes. It’s about getting voices back.

Why 500 Matters

Every movement starts somewhere.
If 500 people in District 30 show up and say, “We believe poverty is not a moral failure, it’s a policy choice,” that sends a message that the fight against poverty is not fringe. It’s fundamental.

This campaign is not about me. It’s about showing that we have the power to shift what’s possible. When the people who need help the most show up at the polls, we could change things overnight. If we vote together, we can turn hope into action and action into policy.

What We Believe

✅ Poverty is not a moral failure. It’s a policy choice.
✅ Working families should not need two or three jobs to survive.
✅ When one of us struggles, all of us pay the price.
✅ If those who need help the most show up at the polls, we can change things overnight.

How You Can Help

The 500 Movement starts with you.

  • Vote in the March 3, 2026 Primary Election.
  • Share this campaign with friends, family, and neighbors.
  • Encourage others to believe their vote matters, because it does.

If just 500 people believe enough to act, we will spark something that cannot be ignored.
